Of TGIF & Saturday Night (Fever)!

Friday was ossom, spent wit my love. We met after work at Borders. He read some mags while I was touching up for the 127384095 time in the toilet. Hahaha! He was a lil whiny saying he was hungry and i suggested Burger King ('cos got coupons mahhh! Must make use!) Tengah2 makan tu, ternampak si Sue and Hafiz together with Alfiah & Edil, walking past. I was like waving to them. Boleh la pulak sume potek. Ok correction. Only Alfiah saw us and they walked towards the BK entrance. Apparently Sue had a mini gathering later on in the evening with her fellow primary schoolmates. So nice. (: But konon2 alas perut first. Hehe!
They went off first, leaving Aiman and me, alone. How romatic. (Ahhh. Yelah tu! Hahaha!) Aiman decided to satisfy his chocolate mousse craving at Sufi. It's located at Arab Street. Ok the mousse isn't too heavy so it's quite refreshing in some sense. We had some potato wedges and snapple too. Ossom!! So while talking and having fun trying to take some night shots, Amzar called and asked where we're at. Boleh kat same tempat lak tu. He should have called earlier. Maybe leh lepak a lil longer! ('Cos actually my intention that evening was to go to SAM - Sg Art Museum, if you hadn't known it yet.)
Anyways, Aiman and I left around a quarter to 10pm and proceeded to SAM. Met with Sue & hubby over there. Looked around for some bargains at the flea market. And yup! I got myself two great buys!! (: OMG! I should stop myself from shopping! Was just right on time to catch the fireworks displays! So spectacular! And all of us watched some of the performances. Quite good if I must say so myself. Left the venue around midnight and that's the end for Friday.
On Saturday (after work as well), I met up with the boys. Aku da macam jaga kambing tau tak. 4 of them!! The plan was to go Gelang Patah, JB and transport the "newspapers of tomorrow" to Sg. So ingatkan sampai itu, angkut tu vases and chalibot ah! Sekali si Nazar ajak makan tepi laut!! Wah! Shiok man! I never had that kind of experience. The ambience was so serene and peaceful. If only Sg had that kind of chill out place. I'd be there every single time I'm down or need time alone. With the wind blowing in your face and the sky's a different blue, it's amazing how nature can change your mood in an instance. Ermm. I prolly sidetracked there a little. Ok maybe alot. Haha! But really.. It's beautiful out there. You guys should go there one day! (:
We had a delicious spread of food from Cereal Prawns, Seafood Tom Yum, Sweet & Sour Seabass, Ayam Masak Merah & Kangkong Belachan. Sedap hingga menjilat jari. Hehe! (: And afterwhich, the guy camwhored a lot more than I did. (As per Sulinah, they camjerked. Male version of camwhores. Haahaha!) Soon we made our way home to Sg. But not without all the drama. Firstly, a tree fell and blocked our path out from the restaurant. They guys like real only. Like hero wanna help. Skali setakat kick the branches only. Haha! Might as well just sit in the car right?? But since they never had that kind of experience in Sg, they wanna check it out.
And when we thought that was it, it rained heavily the moment we load the vases in the car. Aiyooo. Plus we lost our way home. We prolly circled around JB like 3 hours. We were straving by the time we found Tuas checkpoint! I'm so glad to go back Sg! Banyak la dugaan! But we pulled through it all. Even after all that, it didn't dampen our spirits. (: We carried on to the night. Had some snacks along with our talk cork session at Kranji Dam. After 10 minutes or so, Amzar suggested a better place. Punggol End!! Bukan nak blang siang2. Da happy korang duduk 10 minutes kat Kranji Dam?? But pasal kawan kan, aku layankan. Nasib baik bukan aku yang drive! We ended the day (or more like the night) around 1.30am. I slept like a baby till noon and slept again at 4pm till 7pm. Wahh! So darn tired but worth it cos I love outings with friends and LOVE! My weekends was great! How about yours? (:
